Prince Edward County exports Creativity

All of the elements of the Ministry of Health Promotion’s “Smells like Ash” social media marketing campaign were conceived and produced by a collaboration of local creative industries.

From an economic development perspective this campaign embodies and illustrates what many creative industries are doing, largely behind the scenes, here in Prince Edward County. The elements of this campaign are produced locally, but it is not solely for local consumption – it will be “exported” across Ontario.

With advances in the technologies used in creative industries and the availability of high-speed internet, it is now possible to produce everything from HDTV to cutting edge social media marketing campaigns in our rural community and ship it over fibre and the internet to the world.

Check out Scout Design’s Blog for how this collaborative local campaign came together and who was involved.
